Differential GL C/VC choices

KKR - Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Chakravarthy

DC - Prithvi Shaw, Avesh Khan, Axar Patel, Anrich Nortje, Shreyas Iyer

My Fantasy Team (SL)
(Pre Toss)

Wk - Pant
Bat - Shikhar, Shaw, Iyer, Rana, Gill
AR - Iyer, Narine

GL Picks - Varun, Ashwin, Shakib, Hetmyer, Rabada, Curran, Tripathi, Mavi, Axar

My Fantasy Team 2 (GL)
(Pre Toss)

Wk - Pant
Bat - Shikhar, Hetmyer, Gill
AR - Axar, Shakib, Iyer, Narine
Bowl - Varun, Nortje, Curran

Options - Mavi, Ashwin, Rabada, Rana

Pre Match Analysis

1) DC's batting looked a bit weaker in terms of the depth with Stoinis still out with an injury, and them going with a Bowling All Rounder in Curran. So, either they should bring in Lalit Yadav or Ripal Patel or Steven Smith to increase their depth in batting against a quality bowling unit of KKR, or continue to rely on their all rounders in Axar, Curran and Ashwin for the finishing.

2) After KS Bharat finished the game in the last over against Avesh in the last league fixture and then going for 36 runs in 3 overs in the Qualifier 1, giving him the 19th over was a bit surprising especially when a quality bowler in Rabada had an over to spare. So, probably this time it would be Curran and Rabada bowling at the death, with Avesh and Nortje bowling in the Powerplay overs.

3) Iyer, Rana, Morgan, Narine and Shakib are 5 LHBs in KKR's XI, which could be crucial for Ashwin to do well tonight and do what Narine did the previous night on the same venue.

4) The bowling units of both sides are in great form and on wickets which are getting slow after the first 6 overs of an inning, the bowlers can be really crucial for your fantasy teams tonight.

5) Sending Narine above Karthik and Morgan to get those boundaries was crucial at that stage and it won't be surprising if Narine continues to bat at No.5 in this game as well.

6) Iyer's batting first stats surpasses that of batting second and if they bat first, Iyer is a crucial pick, but if they bat second, Iyer could depart below 20.

7) The powerplay overs are crucial for both innings and post that the wickets will get slow and the runs won't come in very easily. So, the top order batsmen could give good starts, but it's upto them to carry on their momentum.

Predictions (may or may not work)

1) Team chasing to win the game.
2) Spinners to pick more wickets than seamers.
3) Gill and Shikhar to do well.
4) Ashwin could be a game changer and a punt GL pick tonight.
5) Karthik and Hetmyer would be the pillars in the middle order in case of a collapse.
6) Both Iyer's to give a good start and lay a foundation at the top.
7) Varun to atleast pick 1 wicket.
