Safe C/VC choices
Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler

Differential GL C/VC choices

GT - Wriddhiman Saha, Mohammad Shami, Shubman Gill, R Sai Kishore
Risky - David Miller, Matthew Wade

RR - Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Devdutt Padikkal, Yashasvi Jaiswal
Risky - Trent Boult, Shimron Hetmyer

Observations and Predictions

1) This is Mohammad Shami and Wriddhiman Saha's home ground and they'd look to deliver in front of the crowd with ball and bat respectively.
2) Hardik Pandya has a very good all round record on this venue. He is batting at No.4 and Bowling in the powerplay as well. He also has enough Playoff experience with the Mumbai Indians. He will lead from the front and should be a safe choice for your teams.
3) Sai Kishore to atleast take one wicket. He has never been wicket-less on this venue and is the only spinner from both squads to have a Strike Rate below 20.
4) Jos Buttler will be safe choice due to the selection percentage but try dropping him in GL, as he's lacked form in recent games.
5) Atleast one of Padikkal or Jaiswal to score well.
6) In teams where you're dropping Samson and Buttler, Hetmyer could be crucial.
7) Ravichandran Ashwin does not have a fixed batting position and can bat anywhere according to the situation and has been doing well so far. He can also get a wicket in his 4 overs nonetheless. He should be a safe pick for your teams.
8) Trent Boult has played for KKR and has done well on this venue. He likes the pace friendly wickets and can cause early trouble.
9) A David Miller - Shimron Hetmyer combo in GL could be worth a try especially if early wickets fall in the powerplay for both sides with Shami and Boult extracting pace and swing on these wickets
10) Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag would be 2 players who not many would consider to keep in many teams. They are unpredictable players. Keep them as normal players in a couple of GL teams if you're making more than 10 teams, especially when you're leaving out on a couple of top order batsmen of either sides.
11) Lockie Ferguson would be a crucial pick if he plays this game. He has taken 6 wickets against RR in 2 games at a Strike Rate of 8.

Prediction - GT to win.
