*THE BUILD UP:*
A cakewalk for the Irish Women as they thrashed Netherlands in the opener. Sorry to say but it turned out to be a no contest, the fans would have had better expectations and if not the win, they would have come in numbers for the fight and the display of some fine skills. But, none of that happened and the hosts were rattled against Ireland and their superior set of skills and their nature to dominate. The record books remained the same and a 10 wicket thrashing was added to this already one sided rivalry. The Netherlands Women need to stand their ground and we as cricket fans expect better showing than this horrendous show with both bat and ball. They would eye something better tomorrow.

Robine Rijke with 38 off 35 was the only bright spot for Netherlands. Normally, this knock would go under the carpet being unappreciated and even trolled but given the kind of performance that Ned gave, it is one to remember. She will however need some support from her teammates who need to put in the hard yards and come up with finer goods next time they step onto the field. The skipper of the side, Seigers will be needed in order to stage a fightback.
*IRELAND WOMEN PROBABLE XI:*

Their side is full of champions. They have the form, the right mindset and the skillset is right on top. It would only make sense why they are regarded as the favorites to win and seal the series at the same venue tomorrow.
